Cementing Systems:

Light Weight Cement Blends - Much of our R&D focus has been designing light weight cement blends with high compressive strengths that are more economical than any other blends in the industry. Development has yielded great success. Trican/Trican has successfully designed blends with densities as low as 11 lb/gal that still meet strength requirements at low temperatures of 77 ^oF. Although these blends do not begin hydrating until they reach the designed depth, once hydration begins, the blend gains strength quickly, allowing good compressive strength at low temperatures. This technology is unique to Trican / Trican.
Gas Migration - We specialize in designing techniques, products and equipment to control and eliminate the flow of gas into cement during and after the cement job. Products and services include Cement Pulsation, multiple particle size low permeability cements, permeability reduction additives and economical fluid loss control additives.
Lost Circulation - Trican has access to unique solutions to this problem, developed by Trican, including Trican LCP (Lost Circulation Plug/Pill). We also utilize Quick Plug, AquaPlug, Trican LCM (Lost Circulation Material), Trican LCF (Lost Circulation Fiber) and we utilize proprietary Titanium cement blends that reduce hydrostatic pressure while maintaining compressive strengths.
Mud Removal - Trican utilizes its own as well as Trican developed preflushes and mud removal techniques to ensure that cement is placed in a mud free annulus.
