Trican’s AI-7NR is an environmentally-friendly, non-regulated corrosion inhibitor with significantly lower toxicity than standard oil industry inhibitors. Safe for both people and their surroundings, AI-7NR can be used in all forms of acid stimulation treatments from fracture-based acid systems to deep-hole critical sour coiled tubing.

This revolutionary product is clear and sweet smelling, completely non-reactive to the formation mineralogy and totally dispersible in both live and spent acid systems. It is completely soluble in both aqueous and hydrocarbon-based formation fluids, ensuring no solid particles will form or plug perforations. It also helps improve co-mingling of fluids by decreasing interfacial and surface tension, and demulsifying incompatible fluids. AI-7NR has no negative effect on the acid additives required to treat the formation.
