EcoClean®

ecocleanLWTrican’s expanding line of EcoClean products is designed to reduce the impact of operations on the environment. EcoClean-LWTM is designed to protect water wells and aquifers during treatments. This non-toxic fluid is utilized primarily in the stimulation of shallow hydrocarbon reservoirs. EcoClean-LW passes the recommended Microtox® test, and all additives are non-toxic individually and in combinations. It performs like a conventional frac fluid, is environmentally-friendly, and can be foamed to reduce water usage.

ecoclean Trican's EcoClean-GSWTM  is a high performance slick water fracturing fluid designed to eliminate contamination risks to geological formations, aquifers and product handlers. The EcoClean-GSW system includes additives that are non-toxic, bio-degradable and non-bioaccumulating, individually or in combination, and each will pass the stringent Microtox® test. A product or chemical that passes the Microtox® test is considered safe for drinking water, and will meet the criteria set out in most other regulatory examinations.

Other EcoClean products, some mixed on-the-fly by Trican’s new Dry Blend 100TM, are designed for greener, more efficient transportation and application. They also reduce formation damage and contamination risks.

All EcoClean products are designed to out-perform and minimize the effect of stimulation procedures on the environment.
