Gel-Pac-Frac is an economical method of isolating various intervals in a well during stimulation, and avoiding affecting the same part of the well during subsequent treatment stages. Though similar in functionality to a straddle packer, gel-pac plugs are designed to remain in place during the fracture treatment, preventing any frac fluid migration, then break and flow out of the well when the job is complete. Gel-Pac-Frac® is ideal for vertical, horizontal and deviated wells.
