ACIDIZING AND PRODUCTION ENHANCEMENT

Mud Wash^TM

Mud Wash is a unique system that prevents the adverse reaction between acid and drilling mud filtrates containing PHPA (Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide). PHPA is commonly used in drilling mud as a fluid loss additive suitable for both new completions and re-completions of upper zones. By running a small pre-flush ahead of the acid treatment, the rubber–like precipitation is prevented. Mud Wash can also be used to clean up drilling mud and filter cake left near the wellbore.
